AskFora, Co ("AskFora", "we", "us", or "our") operates askfora.com and the ForaChat AI career-companion service (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Account & contact information you provide, such as your name, email address, and — if you choose to use SMS — your mobile phone number.
Conversation content you exchange with our AI characters (Fora, Jan, Lou) and specialists, so we can respond and provide continuity.
Usage and device information, such as session identifiers and basic technical data needed to operate and secure the Service.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide the Service — generating responses, maintaining conversation history, and sending follow-ups or messages you have asked for.
To operate, secure, debug, and improve the Service.
To communicate with you about your account and respond to support requests.

3. SMS / Text Messaging

If you opt in, ForaChat characters may text you at the mobile number you provide. By opting in — by texting START to one of our numbers, or by entering your number and agreeing on our website or in the app — you consent to receive recurring, conversational text messages from the ForaChat team of AI companions.

We do not share your mobile information for marketing. No mobile information — including your phone number and SMS opt-in/consent — is sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in consent is never shared with any third party for any purpose other than delivering the messages you requested.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us operate the Service — for example, our SMS/voice provider and our AI model provider — and only as needed to deliver the Service to you. We may also disclose information where required by law.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and thereafter only as required for legitimate business or legal purposes.
