These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of askfora.com and the ForaChat AI career-companion service (the "Service"), operated by AskFora, Co ("AskFora", "we", "us", or "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

ForaChat provides conversational coaching from AI characters (Fora, Jan, Lou) and specialists to help with workplace and career skills. The Service is for general informational and educational purposes and is not a substitute for professional legal, financial, medical, or career advice.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to use the Service.

3. SMS Messaging Program

If you opt in, you agree to receive recurring, conversational text messages from the ForaChat team of AI companions at the mobile number you provide. You can opt in by texting START to one of our numbers, or by entering your number and agreeing on our website or in the app. Your consent covers messages from any ForaChat character.

Message frequency varies based on your conversations and any check-ins you request.
Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to cancel at any time, or HELP for help.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Supported carriers may change, and delivery is not guaranteed.

Your SMS opt-in and mobile information are handled as described in our Privacy Policy and are never shared with third parties for marketing.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by using it for unlawful purposes, attempting to disrupt or reverse-engineer it, or submitting content you do not have the right to share.

5. AI-Generated Content

Responses are generated by AI and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or not suitable for your situation. Use your own judgment and consult a qualified professional for important decisions. You are responsible for how you use any information provided.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its content, characters, and software, is owned by AskFora and protected by applicable laws. You retain rights to the content you submit, and grant us the rights necessary to operate and improve the Service.

7. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, AskFora is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.
